Prize Bond Draw Schedule 2026 Pakistan – Dates, Cities & Upcoming Draws

The Prize Bond Draw Schedule 2026 tells you when and where each National Prize Bond and Premium Prize Bond draw is scheduled in Pakistan. The official 2026 calendar covers the current Rs.100, Rs.200, Rs.750 and Rs.1,500 National Prize Bonds, along with the registered Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000 Premium Prize Bonds.

The 2026 schedule was issued by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) and is also published through SBP BSC. It gives the date and city for each draw. If a scheduled draw falls on a public holiday, the official schedule states that it will be held on the following working day.

Which Prize Bonds Have Draws in 2026?

The Government of Pakistan currently offers these Prize Bond denominations:

National Savings confirms these as the current denominations.

Older Rs.7,500 and Rs.15,000 bearer Prize Bonds are not part of the current draw schedule. The old bearer Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000 bonds have also been withdrawn and should not be confused with today’s registered Premium Prize Bonds.

Rs.40,000 Premium Prize Bond Draw Dates

The Rs.40,000 Premium schedule is:

Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000 Premium Prize Bonds are registered instruments. They are not the withdrawn bearer bonds that previously had the same denominations.

When Is a Prize Bond Eligible for a Draw?

The draw date alone does not determine eligibility.

For ordinary National Prize Bonds, National Savings currently states that a bond must have been issued at least 60 days before the relevant draw date to be entitled to a prize. National Savings also describes the 60 days before a draw as the shut period, during which authorized organizations stop selling that denomination.

For Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000 Premium Prize Bonds, SBP’s official Premium FAQ gives a minimum holding period of two months for eligibility in the forthcoming draw.

So buying a bond immediately before the qura andazi does not make a newly issued bond eligible for that draw.

What Does the Draw City Mean?

Every scheduled draw has a designated city such as Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Faisalabad, Sialkot or Peshawar.

The city identifies where the draw ceremony is scheduled to take place. It does not mean only bonds purchased in that city can win.

A valid eligible Prize Bond can participate according to the applicable scheme rules regardless of where in Pakistan the holder lives.

The draw city is useful when identifying a specific result because readers often search phrases such as:

What Is Qura Andazi or a Lucky Draw?

Pakistani Prize Bond users commonly call the draw qura andazi, and some people use the English phrase lucky draw.

Both normally refer to the scheduled Prize Bond balloting.

They do not describe a method for predicting a winning number.

SBP’s official Premium Prize Bond FAQ says draws are conducted by a committee constituted by CDNS, are open to the public and use a hand-operated draw machine.

What Happens When a Scheduled Draw Is Completed?

Saving.com.pk treats an upcoming draw and a completed draw differently.

Before the draw, the page can show:

Denomination → Draw number → Date → City → Upcoming

After the official result becomes available, the same draw record can be updated with:

First Prize → Second Prize → Complete Third Prize list → Result available

This avoids creating separate competing pages for the schedule and the result.

Once the result has been added to the Saving.com.pk database, you can check your number through Power Search.

What If the Draw Date Falls on a Public Holiday?

The official 2026 CDNS schedule specifically states:

If a scheduled draw falls on a public holiday, it will be held on the following working day.

That is why some scheduled draws take place on the 16th or 17th even though the usual calendar pattern may suggest the 15th.

Always follow the actual date shown in the official annual schedule rather than assuming the date from a previous year.

Does the Prize Bond Schedule Stay the Same Every Year?

The broad quarterly pattern is familiar, but the exact date and city should not be copied from one year into another.

CDNS issues the schedule for each calendar year. Cities rotate, and dates can move when the normal date is not a working day.

Saving.com.pk should therefore update this page when a new official annual schedule is issued rather than simply replacing “2026” with “2027” in an old table.

How to Check a Result After the Draw

After your denomination’s draw has taken place:

1. Open the relevant denomination page or completed draw.
2. Check the First and Second Prize winners.
3. Search the full Third Prize list if needed.
4. Use Power Search if you have several bonds or want to check historical results.
5. If you find an important winning match, compare it with the corresponding official National Savings result before beginning a financial claim.

Saving.com.pk makes published result information easier to search, but the official record remains the final reference where prize money is involved.

When is the next Prize Bond draw in Pakistan?

The answer depends on the current date and denomination. Use the live schedule at the top of this page, which should place upcoming draws separately from completed draws rather than relying on a hard-coded “next draw” sentence that becomes outdated.

How many times is each Prize Bond drawn per year?

Under the 2026 schedule, each current denomination has four draws during the calendar year. Premium Prize Bonds are officially described as having quarterly draws.

Are Rs.7,500 and Rs.15,000 included in the 2026 draw schedule?

No. They are withdrawn bearer denominations and are not part of the current Prize Bond draw calendar. National Savings currently lists only Rs.100, Rs.200, Rs.750, Rs.1,500, Rs.25,000 Premium and Rs.40,000 Premium.

Can a Prize Bond bought just before a draw win?

A newly issued ordinary Prize Bond must have been issued at least 60 days before the draw to be eligible. Premium Prize Bonds have an official minimum holding period of two months for the forthcoming draw.
